The town my business is at, lovely Arlington, WA, they put together a shop-local, buy-local campaign. These snowmen are all over town representing the local businesses, NGO's, schools, sports teams, etc. There are about 360 of them up now and here's mine!
The gentleman incharge of hand-cutting out every single one of the snowmen is a former racer from North Oregon - Terry Marsh. His father had a chrome shop and every time I see Terry, he makes sure and tells me "everything of mine was BEAUTIFUL!!". Being a former racer, Terry saved prime real estate, right were all the Christmas festivities will be happening.
Here's to snow and Christmas....and a racing snowman!
