Mike and I had some hard battles in ASH years ago that I will never forget, always a hard competitor and great friend. We reconnected in Grass Lake a few years ago and I enjoyed talking to him and reliving the past.

Condolences to all of Mike's family. We will miss you. Race in Peace my friend.

                  Mike Kench

Our condolences to Mike's family . Mike was always a true competitor to all who knew him. He will always be remembered as Kid Krunch , but enjoyed his boat racing family and was there to lend a hand . Rest in Peace my friend and I know you will be waiting at the finish line with a smile.

                              rough

Got a call at 8am today and was in shock.Without mikes help i wouldve not got such a fast start in our sport. He loaned me a boat, motor, tools just to get going. Over the years we became good friends with mike, robin, louis and danielle. Mike was always there to lend a hand and always offered help with my dad. We had great races in Ash,Axh and Bsh. Mike would always step down for us or run when needed. He will be missed dearly and our condolences to the kench/kobren pits. Race in Peace Mike, thanks for everything.Stock outboard racing lost a great member today.
This photo will always bring a smile to my face.

                                Mike wil be missed!

Mike was a member of the original KampKurz, I think he ran the 'Paper Sandwich'. What a spectacular competitor and even more genuine person. My heart goes out to the Kench/Kobren pits tonight.
                                I'll cherish memories forever. Mark
