Identify old runabout?

Owner claims it was built as a special one off by Shannon Bowman. I'm hoping that Craig or Shannon will confirm or refute this.

It has the Bowman "B" on the back of the cockpit that Shannon puts on the hydros..........

Never seen one of Shannons runabouts before.

It is a 1973 or 1974 Bezoat.

Thanks Craig. The owner says it is 14 feet long and originally had a transom tall enough for a 36 (as seen now it is cut down). I bet that narrows it down a lot.

About the Hemi: approx. 1957 Crysler Firepower: 392 w/ 6 Stromburg Carbs. Edelbrock Manifold, etc. etc. Probably around 625-675hp. One of 3 built by Pete Bardon, this is the one named after his two daughters Gay and Barbara (Gaybar). The other two do not exist anymore, the Creampuff and the Hootinanny (spelling?). My uncle found the Hootinanny in a junk yard sometime around 1990, engine gone, hull cracked down the middle. My dad, uncle, and grandfather purchased the boat around 1992 (I'd have to ask for certain). My uncle died in 1994, so it has to be before then. Pete Bardon, was US-1 for a year. Apparently the story is that he thought these hulls he put together would be revolutionary. He went to Florida with the Gaybar to the Nationals (forget the year, my dad knows). He had trailer issues on the way, turned around and died 2 months later of cancer. The boat has NEVER been raced. Hours on the engine are negligible, just trial running.
