So what you are saying is....

The inspection area was right where it should have been and the scales were down-low so's you didn't need a freaking crane to lift a D hydro up onto the platform. Adequate number of crappers!! Good food. GREEAT COFFEE (Kev)!! Downtown close by. Handy hardware store with friendly people. Friendly people at the grocery. BUT THE CLOCK... THAT MUTHA@#%^^&$# CLOCK WAS HARD TO SEE and the chute was a fricking traffic jam. A good time overall!!

      Whitney Point - points

We definitely had fun there. But, my first question (for Region 2) is a big WHY aren't there more more races (racers) in Region Two?

However, water access was decent if you were pitted along the edge, except down where we were it was muck-city. Me an Shawn bought 4 sheets of plywood to make a launch area which a lot of people really enjoyed!! You could see the clock tho. I thought the course for the 08 Nats was rather long. Pulling your boat up-over the bank at the inspection area was a genuine ball-buster. We found a farmhouse B&B 7 miles away and rented it for the week, but the camping and areas for kids to run looked great. Food was good too.

But again.... why don't you guys have more races in Region Two??

I'll second everything Alex says about Grass Lake. It's my favorite site so far. My only complaint is also trouble picking out the clock on the busy shoreline. (I honestly never did see the clock for any of my starts there in 2009.)

          Great

Anyone else care to comment ? Lets try to not plug any race sites as the best of the best, as that only leads to arguments. Just name what you like about it. Also don't be afraid to name what disapoints you about a particular "race site"

With a good amount of people contributing to the list perhaps some things can be identified to make events even better for local clubs and possibly attract more participants.
