      I can't reveal that until Bill Hoctor and his gang of misfits have chance to chime in. It may be helpful to note that one of the two is driving someone else's boat.

          Let's see, this shouldn't be too difficult. It was only 50 years ago. I may have the spelling of names incorrect, but it looks like a John Schiedel in the background and Whitey Lenhart (229-N) in the foreground.

              Davey nailed part of it. Billy Raymond of the Bronx is driving the 229-N.
              Barry recognized John Schedel of Secaucus, NJ shown in Dave Kough's 18-J, Miss FLD III. Both boats are Sid Craft Hornets. The race site is the Delaware Water Gap.
