Help me ID my new boat find!!!!

I found this boat today on Craigs list from a guy who just purchased a farm in mt vernon, wa th. in the barn was this boat.
It looks to be all original right down to the hardware.
please help me id it.
it is around 11 feet long.
what motor would have been run on it (30h?)
it looks like maybe it was a kit or maybe factory built?
anyone remember a boat like this? it looks to have been raced
instead of air traps it has a large fin in the center of the bottom 2-3 feet from the transom.

Looks like a 50's Champion Kit boat to me because of deck /cowling appearence. If it's 11' it would be an C/D model which would run a 30ci or 40 ci Merc.
