I have been looking at the threads about the days are to long at the races, At Taunton we ran all classes that showed up( combined the smaller classes ) including Drag boats and PROS and we were done --with everything packed up ( Patrol boats -pa -clock -- everything) and were on the road at 6:10 pm The delays for dead radios- patrol boats out of gas , no spare turn bags, slow patrol baot changes can all be eliminated . It can quickly add 1-2 hours to a program. Luckily we have" GREEN flag"Giles ön the starter stand. Speedy Steve in the pits, and a couple guys that jump if a patrol boat pukes. Look at your races and see what is wrong.. fix it Region 1 has.. Shawn

Short day!
At our last race at Somerville, TX (our first race hosted as a club!)hosted by the Lone Star Outboard Racing Association and sanctioned by the NBRA, on Sunday we started racing at 10:30am and were done by 1:30. We ran 10 classes and had almost everything packed up and most of the racers were on the road by 3pm.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that it is possible to run a full program and still be done racing in a timely fashion if everyone works together to achieve a common goal.Gardner Miller
