Holy Cow those pics bring back memories! This is the 1989 Stock Nationals in Lawrenceville, PA
That is my team mate and hotheaded friend Matt Scheidt son of Tom Scheidt of California dead center of the first pic with the purple shorts on and sporting the white cowboy hat. We were in second place and catching the front runner when he snagged a bouy.
It was his last race because it is never a good thing to punch out the inspector.
I am in the second pic with the light blue shirt on and the lifejacket with the black trim.
OMC gave away 4 new OMC 15's at this Nationals. Natl Champs in ASH and ASR each got one. The winning Enduro Team got one and there was a random drawing of all drivers of ASR,ASH, and the Enduro.
Colleen Rosado won 3 of the 4 motors when she won ASH, won the drawing, and won the Enduro....

Some of our members are doing a great job of continuing to post vids and pictures. I think we are getting more exposure to people that have never seen Stock, Mod or Pro boat racing before. Through all the friend of connections, than ever before or at least in my lifetime.

Kenny France won ASH in 1989 (and '90)
My dad won the motor from the drawing.
The bottom of Joe Silvestri's boat blew out on me in the Enduro. We were leading at the time...just before the big storm blew in.
