Hi, I was wondering if there was a place in Canada where a C class hydroplane kit could be purchased. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Both Dave Scott(Ottawa) and Rick(Picton) provide plans w kits, and supplies.
Go on their websites, and contact each, describe what you want to do w the boat, type of engine..
Where are you in Ont? Have you come out to any of our several races in Ont?

Waterford, Ont, is an hour away from you, come out either Saturday/Sunday to watch great racing and ask tons of q's re racing/boatbuilding. You could be a flagman in a turnboat for a couple of heats - best seat in the house to watch/learn. Everybody is very accommodating to provide answers. We're already in planning stage for races next year.

You should definitely come to Waterford October 2-3. Ask to speak to Erik and he'll get you in the pits and let you wander and talk to people.

I have Dave Scott's prototype DSH. It is a great boat. I am sure he can
build you a nice boat or get you plans, kit to get you going.
