With the prestigious Taunton Cup on the line, Hurricane Bill Forster earned redemption for his costly miscue at the Haverhill River Run marathon by taking down the win is CSR. Started in 1982, the Taunton Cup is awarded to the winner of the largest class on Saturday's race. For the second concsecutive SSOA event, CSR was the largest class.

We will post all class results Sunday PM.

Grat job Bill Giles and crew. 30 heats of racing done by 4:00PM. The Drag Boat Category finished at 4:45PM and we only missed having all of the equipment removed from the Park's closing time of 6:00PM by 10 minutes. (Perhaps we should have an Official closing time at each event !!)

    Results to follow.

Taunton was 16 hours round trip from where we are staying in NY, but worth every hour! Thank you so much for making Joey's first race in New England a great one!
The last time I raced in New England I watched Colleen Rosado and Dick Courier battle for first in ASH. What a thrill to get to Taunton approx 10 years later and see Colleen and Dick still deck to deck and fighting for the lead.
Watching Silas Jordan get a victory dunk was very cool.

SSOA....Still doing it right after all these years!! You guys put on a great event!

P.S., I heard Wlodarski's had to rent a U-Haul to get all of Johnny's awards back to New Jersey.

Mikey Ross I love that boat. I have been out of shape a lot of times and it always comes down like a cat, on its feet. (so far) Thanks WILD BILL
