  • 2010 K Pro Worlds

To date we have 6 K Pro`s registered on raceforthekidsfoundation.org and 1 has scratched. We can not put on a world race with 5 boats. We need a minimum of 8. This will probebly never happen again for this class, so you drivers and parents have untill next Friday, August the 20th, to get registered, or the class will be dropped.

I thought we only needed six
We are beating the bushes now on Facebook trying to get some more entries.

I talked to Amy Nydahl today and she has agreed to run KPro. That puts us back at the 6 entries we originally needed. Now if we can just find 2 more.

I will be putting a rig together for her to run out of spare stuff.

      THANKS AMY!

What about Becky Nichols? She is already in Florida!

Also remember that an AXSH is a legal KPRO too! We ran a Mercury at the 2009 PRO Nationals.....

                Bill,
I told you a month ago Becky would not be running, she has been at every race in Region 5 for 4 years (except this past Jesup), so you have heard from us. Our AXH does not meet the 1-3/4" height restriction so we will not run illegally.

Joe, Wendy Eldredge and Amy Nydahl have spent many hours on Facebook working the Pro crowd to get enough boats to run. Justin Pinner and Kurt Nydahl joined them along with Max Acierno and Dylan Runne. They even found an adult racer willing to bring a spare rig all the way to Florida in case there is any problems.

Mr. Ellison and Miss Nydahl and taking time away from their 125's to help out. That is cool!

The racing youth, with the support of Sue Sailer, made this happen. They took the ball and ran with it!

I tip my hat to these fine young folks and a special thanks to Sue.

(we may be short 1 gear case & shaft if anyone can help)

Great job hunting down some racers to run in the Worlds! I am surprised that more people aren't interested in sharing the experience of competing in a World Championship event....! Eventually most of these kids will be running a 125ccH in a future World Championship event.

Its like Peter said, "Its a once in a life time opportunity to run in a World Championship for kids." Thanks to all the people that put in the effort to get more boats. Do not stop, now keep it going and make it one of the best classes at the race. Show the European drivers what the kids in the US can do.
