As the sanction is not approved yet, what are the paticulars on the Dayton, OH. race?
Hotels? Camping in pits, Motor homes? I have not attended this race yet and am looking to recify that situation this year.
I'm hoping that the BSH class will run.

Here is the sanction from last year and to my knowledge nothing much has changed from year to year over the last decade or so.

As for BSH, Typically Sidor, Welling, and Dudley attend. Tate possibly? Regardless, there should be 4-5 and possibly Sutherland.

Previous Years Sanctions

Old Sanctions are available on www.apba-racing.com all the back to at least 2004. Just click on the race schedule and then click the "<" to go back one month, and click "<<" to go back one year.

It's a great way to see "what they ran last time" when a current year sanction has not yet been approved. Not foolproof as things can change from year to year... but it is a start!

I Looked at Last Year's Sanction

which listed the Comfort Suites with a "powerboat racers" rate.

I called today and the guy on the phone stated there was no such thing for the race weekend this year.

Thanks for checking, Earl. I went ahead and got a reservation at the Comfort Suites at the normal rate.

If a place gets identified with a racer-friendly rate, I can switch later.
