    **UPDATE** FRIDAY RESULTS AND NICE RECAP POSTED TO THIS THREAD!

    With no May race this year the Men's Club and the Village of DePue are counting down the days until when the first trailer comes into the park. Everybody is getting ready for us. People are marking out thier foavorite spot in the park with paint.
    Get your entry's in early on the Title Series Website, or mail the off to the Chief Scorer Sue Sailer.
    Once again I will have fuel delivered to the lake on Tuesday afternoon.
    Its going to $200.00 a drum plus #20.00 deposit on the drum.
    The east meets the west party is again on Wednesday night. Bring a dish to pass. The Banquet is at the Eagles in Peru on Saturday night.
    Francis Latta will be once again selling the tickets. Get them early so we can get the count to the Eagles early Saturday.
    We are putting the 5th wheels between the beer tent and the bathrooms just like we've done in the past. Parking down at the water put them in a neat order. If we have to move them when I get in to town I'll move them.

    I'm leaving for Constantine on Thursday morning so if you need something shipped you can use my address. Let me know if you have anything coming I can contact UPS, or FED EX drivers to tell them what to do with package. During race week they will deliver right to the lake for us.
    People bring thier dogs please don't walk them thru the please keep them in the pits and on a chain.
    If you bring your 4wheeler please don't ride them thru the park and if you have to go done to time the start go slowly done the street the vendors are on. Plus don't drive them to the Caseys or Giants Den.
    Speaking of the Giants Den Angie with be open for breakfast during the week and on weekends she'll have a buffet breakfast going. Tell Angie I sent you.
    People needing a shuttle from the airport here is a number for Smitty 815-712-8583.
    As always the town is Buzzing with race fever.
    The Men's Club and the Village of DePue are looking forward to seeing everyone. Have a safe trip toa Constantine and then on the the BEST DAMM RACE AND BEST DAMM RACE TOWN in the country.

    Interstate 80, exit Route 89 (Spring Valley exit) South and turn at Route 29. Take Route 29 West to DePue. Watch for town sign. Take Lincoln Ave. (local road) to Marquette Street. Marquette St. West into town and over tracks to downtown area. South on any side street to pits at Lake DePue.



    Accommodations:

    In Peru - La Salle: Baymont Inn 815-223-8585 *** Fairfield Inn 815-223-7458 *** La Quinta 815-224-9000.
    Camping on grounds. Anyone bringing motor-homes, electric and water will be available for a fee.

    Approximate 1 mile course. * * * NOT approved for records.
    All classes 4 laps, except for KPH, C Service, and C Racing which run 3 laps. * * * All classes run 3 flights.

    Minimum $12,500 for PRO Nationals. Olympic style Medallions.

    Tues. July 27, Wed. July 28, Thurs. July 29 - in pits - 10:00 AM-2:00 PM.
    Pre-registration mail-in deadline must have postmark no later than July 12. Pre-registration will be taken at Constantine provided separate check is written. Register on-line at www.ustitleseries.org (request ID and password from webmaster). Must be registered to test. Registration closes at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 29. No late registration accepted.



    Driver Meeting:

    Friday - Mandatory ALL Drivers, 8:00 a.m. in VFW Hall. Bring helmet and life jackets.
    Saturday - in pits (Saturday Racers) 9:00 a.m.
    Sunday - in pits (Sunday Racers) 10:00 a.m.



    Entry Fees:

    Entry Fees $40 per Class pre-entry / $55 on site * * * * * $15 K Pro Hydro / $20 on site.
    ALL PIT CREW /FAMILY MEMBERS REQUIRED TO PAY $10 FOR WRIST BANDS. DRIVERS AND OFFICIALS RECEIVE FREE WRIST BAND. REPLACEMENT BANDS $10. THIS ALLOWS FREE DAILY ADMISSION FOR RACE DAYS. PROCEEDS SPLIT 50/50 BETWEEN PRIZE MONEY AND MEN'S CLUB. CHILDREN 10 AND UNDER FREE.

              Report in from Depue ....

              It's hot and humid. Testing complete for OSY400. Water a bit slow. A few new boats this year and are reportedly very fast!

              Tomorrow low 80's and higher humidity

              OSY400 third up first flight tomorrow, 13 boats.

                              Heard Sean McKean won 500 Hydro, but under protest. Something about the clock. Also bad wreck in 125 runabout but all drivers OK.......Bob N-96
