Trout creek race august 2010

Well folks, although we had anticipated being able to race again in Trout Creek this year, we have decided that there are too many conflicts to do so.

First of all there is a bass tournament running the same weekend as the dates we had selected. The weekend before is a huge celebration of the
100th anniversary of the 1910 fire, the weekend after is Labor Day and one of the busiest days for the boat ramp.

Secondly, it is the same dates as the Eatonville race.

We are working with Avista to approve it for the dates of August 19th, 20th and 21st of 2011. So, everyone write it on the calendar and lets see some folks from the East side of Montana and beyond and West of the Cascades as well as the South joining us.

More details on the race will be forthcoming there are some special plans in the works that we hope we will be able to iron out the details on.

But what a total bummer that we can't go back this year.

I know it is too bad we can't go back but with limited Motel space in town there simply isn't another weekend available that we aren't already committed somewhere else.

But the permit has been requested for August 2011 dates, believe we have picked dates that don't collide with SOA races so hope for a great turnout at this great venue.

I am going to look into getting the course surveyed and see about doing a record course. No promises at this time but researching it out.
