    Bad press feedback

    If you have visited the resent news link for the Augusta,Mi. race that just happend June 5th and 6th you will notice at the bottom of the news article that two local indvidules posted negative feedback about holding the races on Eagle Lake. This is how we as boat racers will lose race sites if we allow these people to be the majority on posting such feedback without standing up for our sport. I encourage ALL of you to please take the time to register with the news papers web site (takes all of 2 minutes) and post a POSITIVE reply to be read by the masses of what a great time you had attending the races and thanking the towns of Battle Creek, Augusta and Galesburg for their support. PLEASE do not attack the people that posted the negative feedback. We live in a democratic country and they have a right to their opinions. Lets just show them their are more in favor for the races then those that are not.

      My favorite line at a race was a women coming through the pits at capital lake one year in washington state....Ranting "you're killing the fish!" "Who's in charge?!"

      It was pretty funny.

        RacerX68 needs to NOT make any more posts. Posts like that just play into their hands! what in the world are you thinking? If you were'nt there and can't make positive comments about the place don't post at all.

          Bill,

          That writing is all too familiar and has Mikey Barrett (RacerX...) stylings all over it. As you said, nothing good will come from this and if this person wants to talk to me they are welcome to as I've put way too much work into this race and site over the last 3 years to have "a racer" create problems for us. Thanks for your supportive words.

            I can't find the comments on the website, did they remove them ? Since I live so close to the race site, I might actually know who posted it if someone gets a name, Tom might too, you never know.

            I went to the link in the first post and there are no comments I can view, am I missing something ?

                I went to the link in the first post and there are no comments I can view, am I missing something ?
                Sometimes it takes a few openings of the link before the comments page will load.

                I want to thank everyone that made positive replys back. Like Mark said we have worked to hard to lose this great race site.
