Tohatsu
Interesting points all around...As a new Tohatsu owner...I was very excited to run my rig in D mod hydro, like I did several times in the past with my 44XS rig. I have to say I was very dissapointed that the Mod commision did not allow the Tohatsu in d mod this year...I feel that it is not in the best intrest of the sport. But so be it. I will run every race this year I attend as both D stock and Formula E. (sorry, 850mod) I do not think it is a huge deal if myself of another Tohatsu driver, such as Darren Goehring or Troy Homlberg, wins the high point championship. It is more a race of attrition then speed...a good true 850 mod would leave us in the dust...which I will assume will happen at both divisionals and nationals. If one of us wins the high point..it will be due to dependability, not true speed. Just my thoughts. Racer Dave
