Oh yea, that was the 1st question he asked Buggy & I when we got to the hospital. I can say Sonny is one tough person, he was talking a 1/2 hour after his 1st operation.I would have been crying and yelling a lot.

Sonny, I wish you the Best buddy, 100% recovery! Just don't be in any hurry and listen to the doctors like Johnny stated on here.

I spoke with Bob Saxvik tonight. He's heading up to Erie to see Sonny tomorrow (Wednesday) and visit. If you know Sax, there's no one else that can lift your spirits like him. Kudos to him for making the 80+ mile trip.

          Wishing you the best Sonny!

Thank you all very much for the well wishes. We just got done with the second surgery and from what I'm told things are looking good. Still very painful but improving. Bob Sax was able to make it up yesterday and we shared a few laughs, I really enjoyed his company. He was telling me that bugs ran a real good race on Sunday in the "C" mod. They were telling me that he was able to hang out front with the big boys. That's a great thing. I'm sure it will be a few months before I can even think about getting back into my rig but I will be lurking around the race sites trying to help were ever I can. Thank you all again for the kind words, I could not ask for better friends.

                        Hi Sonny,
Glad to see you posting here today. You gave us quite a scare on Saturday, glad to hear in time you will be ok. Bugs did a great job racing, it was fun watching him and AJ on the race course and helping each other in the pits. If you need anything please let us know.

                          Race Soon

                          Sonny,

Get a laydown boat, we can carry you to the boat to avoid any issues with water and infections. Or better yet, get in it and we wheel you in. No moving around for the leg.

At any rate, hope things get well quickly. Being sidelined sucks.

Funny you should mention it. We have been running the C mod on a mjr laydown and it's a ripper. I was just telling bugs earlier that I might copy that rig and make a B mod laydown.

                                Oh wow

Oh Wow, those are great shots. I didn't think that anyone got pics of the wreck. wow it's hard to believe that I am mixed up in that ball of spray somewhere..I just got done with my last surgery and skin grafts. They spit me out of the hospital Tuesday afternoon although the leg is feeling much much better the harvest site..."were they took the material to fix the leg" Hurts like you wouldn't believe. Hey some great pics of Bugs in the laydown..The white boat. Holy smokes did we put a lot of work into that one also. He looks like he's hauling the mail in that thing. Great pics thank you Steve.
