To all of you who have been purchasing fuel at the Kwik Fill stations and using it as race gas: Today is a sad day. I went to my local Kwik Fill to purchase some and there was a 10% Ethanol Posting on the pump. Had my fuel meter with me and of course it read +71.

It was great while it lasted.

Central Florida

There are two locations in Central Florida where you can purchase regular gas without ethanol. Cunningham in Daytona Beach and a heating oil dealer at the south entrance to the Deland airport.

We talked to a VP rep recently that said the lower octane VP would soon have ethanol.
Our fuel supplier at the cement plant is now bringing in ethanol free gas for $2.90 a gallon. Whetstone Oil claims that there is enough of a demand for ethanol free gas that many suppliers are putting in 500 gallon tanks to sell it to the public.

talk to gas stations that service a lot of people with Ski-Doos, snowmobiles and ATV's. the Town Pump stations all over Montana are not using premium with ethanol as they found they lost a lot of customers when it ruined their high performance engines. We are also lucky that one station owner has some classic cars and will not run ethanol fuel in them so he carried premium without! They are not allowed to put ethanol in AV gas as it eats the rubber seals in airplanes and that is really bad, consequences are much worse than ruined seals in a land vehicle!

With the loss of non-alcohol pump gas we are going to switch to airplane gas. What do you have to do to this fuel to make it legal in Stockoutboard. Or VP gas.

You don't have to do anything to AV gas to make it legal. I've been buying it from my local airport since last year. It reads about -50 on the meter. All I do is add oil and go.
