Good weekend of racing. Very cold yesterday, but we made it. I can't remember all classes for both days, but I know a few winners:
CSH sat: jamie nilsen
CSH sun: lots of jumpers in final but I think Nilsen or Lewis came out on top.
20ssH: sat: mike perman
20ssH: sun: can't remember order but JMK, perman, and lewis were in the mix.
CSR sat; Kyle bahl
CSR sun; mike perman
ASH both days: JMK
ASR sun: JMK
AXH sat: ashley Rucker
AXR sat: colin rucker?
350ccH both days: zach malhiot
OSY 400 sat: jon nilsen
OSY 400 sun: either jon or kay brewer..
70 enties both days. Had a pretty decent turnout. Wish the weather was better. Maybe someone with a better memory can fill in the gaps.Hope everyone had fun!

We also had a good day of testing Friday. Yah, it was pretty cold, but the wind did not blow. Also, I want to give Kyle Bahl an "attaboy" for a job well done as a first time race director. Racer Dave (Happy former 44XS owner)
I should also add....for those people that have never been to an outboard race...Mayfield Lake 2010 is the perfect example of what competion should be..every class...from J hydro to 350 pro, had boats racing deck to deck for three laps. The people on the beach, both locals and racers...stood at the spectator area (myself included, when I was not racing) and just went nuts over how close the racing was in dang near every class. And the best part is...it's free. There was NO charge for people to watch. In my book...it is the the best deal in motorsports to watch an SOA/CORA outboard race....Something to think about for sponsors or groups thinking about sponsoring a race. Racer Dave
