Wow.......look whose 60 today! Get Luce and bring the Patron down to Wilson, NC in July!
On a more serious note, Luce told me your son Dave Jr. was on the oil rig in the Gulf that went up in flames and helped save some lives while making it off himself in one piece. Looks like the Youngs dodged a couple of real bullets recently.

I hope 60 is not the speed of your BSH , If it is you better hang it up. If it's your age then you still have plenty more years of racing to get up to speed. Hope things are going well and look forward to racing with you this Summer .

Thanks folks for all the great birthday wishes. I'm just getting to feel alot better after the valve job and new fuel line (now all I need is the lower end rebuilt!!) Davey's incident in the Gulf sure did test the repairs on my heart until we learned he was OK. I hope to at least be at a couple of races soon to help. It doesn't look like I'll be running myself until after July. My family and freinds have been taking real good care of me. Sixty is worth it...and Gibby Peterman is still my hero after winning 250H at 72 years old.
