    Topinabee, MI

    Howie,
I think it has sometimes been referred to as Topinabee. Because that used to be the start point of the race (Topinabee, MI).

      Top O' Michigan

The race has always been called Top O' michigan stock outboard marathon. As Dudley stated it used to take place out of Topinabee,Mi..

      Sorry for highjacking the thread.

As of the March SOA newsletter, Rockaway Beach, OR is still on the region 10 schedule Sept. 4-5.

                    hey kyle,

unless SOA has decided to handle the rockaway race this year it is NOT happening. we (CORA) decided that newberg, milwaukie, cullaby and the kilos are all the handful of us can handle this year.

lake lytle is a great race site but we just don't have the bodies to handle another race. i'm sure we (CORA) would be willing to assist SOA with some equipment and support if ya"ll want to make it happen.

good luck and take names in florida.

                      hey Bill

thanks for the update. I guess i should have waited until the region meeting tomorrow to open my mouth on CORA races. Thanks for letting me know. Tomorrow will be the finalizing of the region 10 schedule if anyone wants to attend. Region 10 winter meeting tomorrow at the Hydroplane Museum 12:30pm.

                                osy

I had not notice the age limit on osy before. It is fourteen years old. It seems a little strange that you can not drive a C stock hydro until your fifteen, but take the weight limits off and drive in the upper sixties at age 14 in osy. This is were the APBA board of Dir. should step in and change the situation. I'm not sure which would be the correct age.
