Looking for identity of this Q-10

Hi, First time posting and I'm so impressed with the available information and support.
I bought this old hydro asa project to restore and possibly get into racing if thats possible. It is in very solid condition. The only markings I can find on it is the Q-10. I would like to know as much history as possible, wh raced it, what engines were to be used and most importantly What can I do with it.
I would look nice hanging behind my bar but I'd love to run it and race it.

I don't have any info on your boat, but it has similarities to my late 50's Sid Craft. Looks like it might have been a rag nose at one time and someone covered the nose with plywood. Does it look like it had a small plaque above the steering wheel that was held on with two very small screws? The plaque on my boat is about 1 3/4" by 3/4", if my memory is right. I can go measure it or the centers of the screws if that will help ID the boat.

Looks like a SID CRAFT B

Post the following:

1) Weigh it before restore.

2)Measure the bottom width at rear between the air traps.

3)Measure the length from the rear of the sponson to the rear of the back planning surface known as afterplane.

4)Measure the length from the rear planning surface to the front at the centerline.

5)Measure the transom height from the bottom to the top where the motor mounts at the centerline.

Check the flatness in all directions of the last 3 feet of the bottom fill and/or remove material and level as needed. Also check the relation of the plane of both sponsons at their trailing edge relative to the rear planning surface at the trail edge. They should be in the same parallel line. To do turn boat upside down and place a straight piece of wood (like 2x4 with 4 dimension up) to span across from one sponson to the other at the sponson trail edge. Then sight from the front of boat to determine if the rear trail edge lines up with the rear trailing edge of the planning surface at the transom by viewing ther top of the 2x4.
