      KurzCraft Mancave!

Here's a shot of my cave. Sometimes I get a little boat work done, and sometimes a bunch of knuckleheads show up and we get a little beer drinking done. I like pregressive country and bluegrass to make me want to make fast boats.

Mark- maybe in the area over the holidays if not Easter week for sure. I am sure we can consume beverages.

I love it, there's a lot to be said about size mattering .

                    Man Cave Building

                    Islandmon,

This building's foot print is 24 x 40 which is close to your size. This building is a basic square tube frame carport that you see all put up all over to put cars under. I ordered it with 9 sidewalls for extra height, and set in on a pre-poured slab, closed it in, insulated it, and ran 60 amp service to it. It has small window sized AC units, yard sale ceiling fans, plus micro-frig, stereo, TV, etc. Nice place to get away....

Tom, looks like you used OSB for sheeting the walls. I like your set up, lot's of room to move things around. My plan is to use 7/16 OSB on the walls and ceiling once I finish re-finishing a fellow racers boat. I love hanging out in there now that I can keep it warm. 10-15 minutes with a 100,000 btu heater and I'm up to 70 +. Now I just need to find a few more winter projects .

                              got lucky

Due to the economy tanking in michigan and the collapsing housing market ... I finally found a house to buy.. I always rented.. It felt good to walk away from the landlord and into this house..It was a short sale which there is nothing short about it... It took over 3 months to close.. But the wait was worth it we picked it up for 1/2 price..

The pole barn is 30x60 and Finished inside like a shop, heated, hot water and a bathroom on 2.5 acers... We would have never been able to buy a house like this If it was not for the fall of the housing market ... I took these with cell phone not sure how well they are gonna come out..

Nice digs Mike, it's a sad situation for sure here in Mich as well as in other states. That said I'm sure your going to enjoy your new home. By the size of the pole barn I think it goes a little beyond a Man Cave though ..........have fun.
