  • Do You Dream About Boat Racing?

I woke up this morning because I was upset. I was upset because in my dream I couldn't find my cut suit even though I had been frantically searching for it for some time. The boats running in the heat before me had just gone out so I knew I only had about five minutes left. Normally I would have been suited up and had my boat in the water at this point. And I thought, "If I went out without a cut suit would the referee even notice?" And then I woke up.

Do you dream about boat racing?

Or do I just add this to my long list of crazy?

I dream about boat racing at least 3 nights a week. (REALLY) And in the morning I go to my garage and look at my new trailer and my new hydro. Life is good.

            Who Dosn't

I've had about running a laydown through the Kilo's since I was a kid. I still have it and it is still set at the old Modesto site which we havn't used in twenty odd years ( and I never ran there, just the new site).

              Dreamed of Top'O

Years before I ever raced, I would have rather vivid dreams of doing Top'O. As it is a lemans start, I would always have, as my crew, some of the guys that in reality, I had helped over the years. Craig Bowman, Billy Allen and Dave Dewald were almost always there helping me start. You gotta know that's a comfortable dream.

Oh yes! Last season, I dreampt that in the minutes before the start of the Top O' marathon, I was frantically running around the pits looking to borrow a marathon gas tank. I only had my tiny short course tank. What a nightmare!

I dream about boat racing regularly, and as a matter of fact, just last night. My dreams nearly always involve myself in a very embarassing situation. And my biggest fear is that I will somehow find myself in public wearing no pants.

I don't know why I just shared that.

Well allot of people say the best way to get over a fear is the immersion method... I suggest you visit a different country first that is less ah....strict on what men wear, or it might be more than embarrassing.
Thanks Jeff I did not know how badly i needed a good laugh until after i read your post. Then it was self evident.

                            Dreaming

I had more dreams about racing more when I was just "crew" and wanting to race. Now I keep myself up at night thinking what I did wrong and how I can do better next race!
