the latest 202 (E) is "basically" a 302, except for it has a 102 ignition (except it has dual points) To convert the 202E to a 302, you have to buy the 302 transistor ignition and the 302 flywheel and you are set.............
converting a 102 to a 302 transistor ignition does not work, as the crank is different, the top bearing cap assy is different, along with the mag assy.............and not legal in stock or mod...........
Mike, just MOD the 102 and hope the coils last..........or go full blown 302mod...........
Oops....That makes more sense on the 202E......Was there something also about duel condencers?....I have a couple sets (see pic) that I acquired from Bill Bruex and rest of stuff for spares for my 202D which will go with it if sold.
