You will love it. We play with R/C boats at some of the races in the evening.

    How much are they?

From what I have seen they get even better after a couple beers

Those are cool boats. I got a nitro boat I haven't run in a couple years simply because I haven't found nobody to play with since moving to the east coast. I would like to get me a fast electric. Less chances of it stalling in the middle of the lake.

The UL1 is $330.00 from my hobby shop.It is on back order and wont be here until after the first of the year. This will be my first fast electric,I have a few nitro boats and want to try the electric. With a few minor upgrades the UL1 will run up to 57mph.

It sounds like that battery is more dangerous to handle then dynamite!

Why do the R/C's turn to the right?

It makes my eyeballs bleed everytime I see it!

I am sure there is a reason for them turning the "wrong" way....what is it?

When R/C boats first got started they used converted R/C airplane engines and they turn the opposite direction from our outboards. They run backwards to work with the torque of the engines so don't do hard left turns

                        R/C Outboard Hydro

Running R/C after the races is always fun.

Here's my latest. It's nitro and it's an outboard, but I'd like to put together an electric outboard version too. Plans are available on my website. www.blackwellracingboats.com
