Gods Country!!! Rainbow City, Al. I put on the 97 AOF Nationals and we had 432 entries.
I will post more pictures later. There more than enough pit area to do any thing we want.
      And the water is great!!!

Great place to race........I raced there for the AOF Nationals in 97 and 98. Both were big races (I think Jeff mentioned 432 entries).... I think would be a great option for the same weekend as Jesup was supposed to be. According to weather channel.com the average high is 73 and low 47 for April. The week before they will play the Master's in Augusta Georgia which is about straight east.. If it is warm enough for Tiger to play golf and usually in a shirt sleeve shirt, surely we can race the next weekend.

          Rick,
I agree with you. Thursday April the 15th for testing then the 16th, 17th and 18th for racing. Also maybe a few North American Championships to go along with it.

this is an excellent race site. fast water, plenty of pit space and a really good catfish restaurant in town right next to the motel. good luck on this project jeff.

                Jeff,
The site looks great. I would recommend contacting the MOD Commission (after Nov 6th) about a contingency bid for hosting the MOD WinterNationals in 2010. They should be receptive to you.

Also regarding your Nationals bids, please remember to include the J Category when submitting your request.

If you need any help don't hesitate to ask.

                Howie

                  Nice Place

I miss that race site. Pits were nice, water awesome.

Jeff, you get that new boat running yet ? Have not chatted with you since Zanesville a couple years ago. Miss you and your dad. His stories always crack me up.

We should put all our dads in charge of APBA and NBRA and see what happens. I bet we would have fun and not have much nit picking !!
