I probably shouldn't tell you this, but Crooked Lake was like glass until about noon. If the race would start at 11 rather then noon, there would have only been 3-6 inch chop. PERFECT! By 12:30... Well... I don't have to say, you felt it.

I keep saying Top O' should start at 8 am! REALLY perfect water then!(and no pleasure boat traffic)
But, I guess the rough water's good for ya. Like my Dad would say "that'll put some hair on your chest!"
