I'm not sure that I would consider being an officer of APBA as qualifying as "pay". lol. Eddie.

Looks to me like the kneel down jockeys faired pretty well in this election. Who is going to run for re election for the VP of Mod and Stock? I have heard some rumors but nothing is set in stone yet. Looking forward to some new blood that have some cahonies so we can make some forward progress. Mikey

Mike, Scott Reed wants two more years. There is much unfinished business still on the table that we need to continue with consistant leadership. Scott is also a great representative of Stock Outboard.

Stock Outboard is all about a level playing field.

True parity is one motor per class.

It's RACING, not just another boat ride!

NOT a representative of Racing Outboards LLC.

Is there someone else out there that wants the job?
Mike are you the one spreading the rumors?
Are you saying you would like the job?

Mike you missed OPC...heard there is going to be new blood trying to get elected in that catagory.

John I didn't get the impression that Scott was revved up about being re-elected. You seem like you're revved up about his return. I would have liked to see some more appointed commissioners the last 2 years. There are quite a few very qualified individuals out there that could help make sounder decisions for the Stock category. In Stock, the commissioners majority vote controls what happens with rules for the upcoming years. Unlike Mod were the racers have a say via a vote to pass or reject new rules. I have seen first hand where issues at the National meeting get pushed through with the system we are using. Leaving drivers with no say and having them feel like the commission was weighted against certain ideas. (for example the Mercury 15 ASX motor not being able to race A this upcoming year) I have a new driver that spent the money to buy a new Mercury thinking his kid could run AX and then when gaining more experience he would move up and race A. Well that idea went down the tubes. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else was thinking like I was. In the past 2 years I haven't seen a huge positive movement. The sidewinder is still way behind schedule. It has shown more promise in the hands of the finest drivers and crew chiefs. But I see it in the hands of the not so knowledgeable looking way off the pace. It is suppose to be a engine anyone can buy and be in the hunt at least. It is still very limited in availability 6 or 7 years later. Lets here some feedback Mikey!!!

                          Mod VP

                          Mike...

I will be the Mod VP, but I will only use Detroit and Chicago political leadership methods.

                          Sorry Ed!

Jerks? That is pretty strong language from the elected BOD. You are making me rethink my vote Remember, we voted you in, we can vote you out.....

                              Congrats.....
