    hi there guys just would like to no if you measure the centre of balance with all the boats hardware and motor or hardware and less motor cheers jason ps the boat is a laydown hydroplane

    I've no experience with Laydown hydros. But since nobody else has jumped in, (I think everyone's out racing this weekend) I'll throw in my two cents.

    I would imagine you'll want to take any measurements in an "as raced" state. Testing is the best way to determine where the weight needs to be. I suppose the driver and fuel tank position are the only adjustable items. With everything else, it's gonna be what it's gonna be.

        thank guys it has been a good help ,,i have the rough centre of balance atm ill wait until its finshed and ill find it centre with me and fuel ready to roll , cheers and happy racing
