After Kingston, with Rossman taking the two wins and narrowing the gap, it will be another big battle this weekend for the 25SSH APBA High Point. Should be awesome to watch!

Heard from several maybe's about coming out...

We have drivers in need of J props... I'm not sure what the issue is, but the APBA props are not available I'm told from the club executive. If you have something you could lend out for a few of them, please bring it along. We have 2-3 J drivers getting on the water for the first time this weekend.

Perhaps you could get Steve Noury to bring the J props that we had at Kingston to your race? Just a thought! I wish I had the time & $ to bring our J H out there too! It would be cold for "tenting"!

Just got word from John Webster that Peewee will be running another Webster motor so 3 BCH's from them, and John said Rob Dixon is rumoured to be digging out his BCH outfit and he hopes the Fralicks bring one for an end of season battle of the Merc's! Also haven't heard from the Greer's...

Passport?

I hate to sound stupid.... but, do you need a passport these days to enter Canada and return to the US? I know that many of you have done just that this past weekend. It used to be a drivers licence and a birth certificate would do.....

Government photo ID will get you up here (ie drivers license and birth certificate)... to get back into the USA you need special ID that is Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative compliant... passport, nexus card, some special computer chip drivers license, or a passport card. Not a silly Q, you don't want to ride your boat across lake Ontario/Erie at night.
CDA will let just about anyone in, with a library card, or a note from Mom.
US entry(US citizens and other), effective June 1, 2009, need either a passport, passport card, other, to get back in.

Rumor has it that over the past weekend, Aaron Peterson broke the Yelm, Washington push boat record at.....97 feet!!!!!

If this is true, congrats to Aaron! I hope someone video taped this, heard the boat was real interesting too.

I think I'll have to ditch the sponsons I have made from a 2x4 on a chop saw to increase my 20'-25' or so distance. haha.
