Just got home from one fun filled packed weekend. All I can say is WOW! Loch Haven did it again, great weather, crowds were great and the boatracers were outstanding. I tested AXSR and 20 on Friday, decided I wanted to run 20, but had some engine issues. I found out racing is like a bike ride. You don't forget the thrill and once your back in it you long for more!

Abby turned 9 on Monday, (Mom nor Dad were ready to let her race her first race at Loch Haven, but gave her the next best thing) a ride in the 20 rig. Check out the last picture. I think she is hooked. GPS went 51. She won't be satisfied with the speed of the lower classes

Great shots Christine. Felt like I was there! Sure miss being at Lock Haven on Labor Day weekend. This is the first time in about 7 years that I haven't been there for the great weekend.

We missed your smiling face! I would have taken more pictures but I was sidelined with an injury. I was helping Jeff with the boat and my right foot was caught against the rocks and then I lost my balance and hit the ground hard, scraping and banging myself up really good. So good the EMT's had to dig some rocks from my wounds. It hurt more the day after. So my pictures were limited to where I was sitting with my leg propped up. Thank you for all that made sure I was ok, and insisted that if I got up I was going to be in lots of trouble.

As usual the best show was "Rocky the wonder dog, and Ryan Runne".
Rocky acts as if he owns the pits and water. I seen him in the rescue boat with Matt replacing course markers and then sitting at the helm of Val's boat as it was pulled up the hill. Ryan well, after giving the Dash for Cash its excitement in the first turn, he climbed aboard his boat that was upside down and took a bow to the cheering crowd.
