HRTV streaming its first ever live event today!

We have a lot of work ahead of us over the winter months to prefect our streaming but this is a start. Michael left his camcorder AV adapter at home so we are limited to his laptop web cam for this event. Plus he his pulling in a wi-fi signal from the marina around the corner which is spotty at best.

Sunday I was able to get a better signal, its pretty incredible considering how far away the marina was. I upped the quality to the highest possible and it actually looked pretty decent. It was a lot of fun chatting with everyone and gave me something to do during the breaks. I hope to be able to webcast from our next GP race in Quebec in a couple weeks. If you go to the live stream now you can see some of the recorded broadcasts. I'm messing with my video and pictures right now so they should be up later today.

This is big folks! Look for the HRTV camera crews at a race near you in 2010 Michael will cover the Inboard circuit while I cover the Outboards.

Of course all this will only be possible if we can get the proper funding behind us.
