Hey Andy- You bet I`m ready! Might have to Put Steve between us in the pits. That might keep us seperated until we get out on the course! Looking forward to racing with you and Joe. Have a safe trip up!

Shane - Bring Your AH - Joe has an yamato 80 and i can use a restricted c stock - that would be at least three of us -------------- Rich - Even have some thing new to try in practice on friday plus found a small problem in engine that may have kept my speed down all year - so - huh - look out -- I may need o install rear view mirrors on my boat to keep and eye on you - lol
Vern,
If I am one in your bump sights wait until the first race next year, I might get my act together and stay in front of you. No reason to out with a bang this year. Ha!

I will be there with a DH DR ER SEH. Make sure whoever gets there first that you mark the path from Effingham to the race site. And I mean EVERY turn. Because I get lost in those corn fields!!!

ROFLMAO !! This is one race I marked as a waypoint on my GPS ! The first time I went here I had no problem in the daylight, but after we went out for a few adutl beverages coming back in the dark.... oh my, they did not tell me all cornfields look the same in the dark !
Hey,
Maybe I missed it somewhere - or maybe there are some good signs along the way , but are there any really good instructions to get to race site ? We will be getting there about 1 am on friday morning , lol , don't really want to be wondering around in the corn fields all morning. Can someone post directions, this is our first time to race here. Thanks - Andy
Ifyou are coming from the south take Int.70 east from St louis to Vandalia take Hwy 51 north to Assumption turn East on 104 go thru Findlay a short distance later you will pass over the lake Approx. !/2 mile later you will see a sign for the race turn left. Follow the signs. The sponsors are very good with the signs, but you need to pay attention, lots of twists and turns. If you are coming from the north you will come thru Sullivan I am not real familiar with this route but you will have to turn rt. to head back to the lake and follow the signs. Not too many twists and turns this way.

Does not look like I am going to make it this weekend. Just not enough time in the day to get everything rebuilt in time to leave.
Man this sucks, this and Centrallia are two of my favorite races and race courses. I love Shelbyville, perfect pits, perfect course (even if it is a short course) perfect places to camp at, tons of spectators, just the right atmosphere for a boat race. And to boot they moved the beer party to the pits this year...... that is bumming me right the hell out. I know of a couple other APBA regualrs heading that way, so I hope you guys have a great race. I am very sorry to miss it.
Dave, it sucks that you can't make it. We always enjoy when you guys can race with us. I guess it will mean more Jaeger Bombs for me!!!! Who else is headed this way?
