Soooo, is the gas at the Kwik Fill which i believe is down the road by the Lock Haven Hotel that several of us are staying have good gas?? I believe it is accross from the Sheetz.

Boat racers love Lock?Haven

LOCK HAVEN - The main attraction of the annual Jaycees Labor Day Regatta has to be the races with boats from the American Power Boat Association.

Lock Haven's regatta continues to be the largest one of its kind on the East Coast. In the nation, it's second only to the Nationals which rotates venues each year. This year's Nationals were held in Grass Lake, Mich., about a month ago.

Lisa Jennings of the APBA's Central Jersey Racing Association said the 2009 regatta, to be held Sept. 5 to 7, will host the North East Modified Divisionals, (which covers Regions 1-3 from Maine through Delaware). The event will also host the North American Championships for two modified classes - 350H and 500R - and two stock outboard classes. Also, the junior class will be there with boats of several different sizes.

The loudest and fastest boats will be in the Pro Class, which will attend with its alcohol boats in 125 cc and 250 cc. Boats are making the trip from as far away as Florida
