Tiny-Tach for 102

Does some one know which model you use for the 102 .

And is it worth getting the commercial tach for the faster upate speed .

Call the company and order it from them. They can make the leads to whatever length you need them. I have had both the commercial tach and the standard one. I prefer the commercial tach. On the commercial tach you yourself can set the tach to the firing order of your engine.

We couldn't get the tiny tach to work on the 102 or the 20 (different ignition system).

I have used it on a 102 and it worked great. You must have had it set for the wrong firing order.

I use the standard on an OMC w/CDI It works well but sometimes reads double for a few seconds, usually at low Rs.

Thanks, i have seen one on a 102 working very well so i think i'll call them direct and get it set before delivery , i didn't know that was an option .

I find that I can see mine if I my adjust position so theres less glare. Even in the low 50s its scary to take my eyes off the water long enough get a good look Would be cool if they offered a sport version, easy to read on the fly
