Ione Washington, anyone going?

This weekend the 1st and 2nd of August at the Ione City Park. Town located just a 1 1/2 hour drive North of Spokane. If you need a Motel, contact: Porter Plaza in downtown, just 2 blocks from the race site, 509 442 4811. Or try Ione RV and Motel. There is camping at the site as well. We should have some incredible weather and I love this River! Some one else post some hydros, I'm fresh out of them!

Now dont give jerk crap about not wearing his cut suit, he was testing in the Snake River and showing our boat to the famous Paul Grichar (former 'Gone Broke' Champion) and catching heck for missing an important part on the cav plate! The Misses

The Hydroracer staff and family plan to be there. It is going to be a hot one according to the weatherman if they are to be trusted.

If its too hot, the Gardner Limestone cave ( second largest in Washington) is about 18 miles down the road, where it's 39 degrees all year round! Tours from 10:00 to 4;00 every day! And there is swimming you know.....Hey, send Dad to the cave and we can go for a dip! And the pack rats have left the cave for better eats elsewhere! Oh just 8 miles down the road is Steam Creek Waterfalls rest stop where you can bath under a mountain small river! Slightly warmer than the cave. Beautiful area and well worth the trip. I think the train is also running from Metaline Falls to Ione.

Been a long time since we have been to Ione, had a friend there in the 80's. Looking forward to seeing you all at the race. We will be leaving Montana Thursday morning and heading that way.
