Lets use this one for the roll call for the 2009 NBRA Long Course Nationals at Raccoon Lake. Who is coming and what classes will you run?
Sorry I posted as a reply to Shelbyville and that will be confusing.

I removed the roll call from Shebyville post. Should be no confusion now.

Thanks! I am suffering from race lag today.
Testing Thursday August 6th starting at 10:00, Testing starting at 10:00 on Friday the 7th, Drivers meeting at 11:00 on Friday, eliminations if needed at 1:00. Saturday the 8th will be the Nationals and Sunday the 9th will be the NBRA Series Race. We may run one or two final classes on Friday, if we have eliminations we may run those classes.
This all depends on turn out.

I don't have a horse in this race due to knee surgery (in other words - I won't be there) but a one day Nationals??? That could be very hard on drivers racing multiple classes with the same boat(s). For example: D and E hydros and runabouts. Instead of racing all 4 classes I'd pick the two I thought that I had the best shot at winning and run just those two. You could be loosing entries with this schedule. Another thing about Centralia is the distance you have to push the boats to get them in the water. Long haul any way you look at it unless you get there early enough to pit right at the ramp. No way to get by without a cart.

Centrailia has a ramp pretty much central location of the pits. There is also a slope over by the weigh station that 5 or 6 boats can use and there is pitting around the peninsula that the judges stand is located on that another 5 or 6 trailers can use with access directly to the water. Sure a boat cart is needed but where don't you need a cart. Don't see too many guys carrying boats to the water these days. NBRA/ODA has held several 1 day nationals and never seams to be a problem. Everyone runs what they want and if a little time is needed to change an engine a little time is given.
P.S. Sorry you wont be able to make it David. Hope that knee is getting better.

We have had several full fields take out of the pits with no problem, a good point also is that the lake is full so it is straight in with not hardly any slope. The inspection tent and scale will be at the same location. I may be off some but the 2005 Nationals had 50+ drivers with over 130 entries and we had plenty of room.

What you are trying to say here is you are getting old !

In the past we have had to make multiple engine changes from runabout to hydro, or smae boat just powerhead changes. If we run behind they always allowed some time, or accomodated some how.
