  • NBRA Short Course Nationals Lake Shelbyville, IL

Sept. 18, 19, and 20th will be the NBRA Short Course Nationals held on Lake Shlebyville, IL. $3,500 prize and tow money. There will be a full day of testing on Friday with Short Course National Finals on Saturday and a NBRA series race on Sunday. In addition to the races there will be a beer tent and party with a band on Sat night in the pits. Shelbyville is a great place to race with excellent pits and large crowd. The sponsor is requesting a pre-registration for this race so we can get an idea of how many drivers are going to show up. Please post here if you are planning on attending.

    Thanks,
    Keith Kampen

Team Crabtree will be there. It's been 31 years since our last Nationals. Looking forward to it very much. Kevin can I tie a rope around your steering bar so you can drag me to second place in E-Hydro? Please.

Hey Rich and all the C Stock hydro guys..... I have bought a couple of the restrictors for the C Stock that allows it to be legal for A Hydro... I am going to try and buy some more. They are $23 and you can have a second class. I don't know exactly what prop to use yet, but will be finding out. I should have these at Centralia. I am assuming a short course C stock prop will be good and possibly a slight adjustment in carburator settings. Hopefully this will help fill up the A hydro field and get some guys more time on the water with very little cost involved.

                    What about Centralia?

What about the Centralia, Il race? I probably just missed it but I have not seen anything about it. Anyone know about the schedule? Is Friday the 7th a test day?

Centralia Testing will be Thursday August 6th from 10:00-5:00 and Friday the 7th starting at 10:00. We will have a drivers meeting at 11:00 and run eliminations after that. Due to the Nationals running on Saturday and the Series race on Sunday, we may decide to run a couple of the classes on Friday after eliminations. If you are not planning on arriving until Friday afternoon or evening please let me know and we will not run that class on Friday. This all depends on turn out, how many classes we will have and if we will need eliminations. I will be posting more info next week.
