  • What Race would you pick ?????

Next year we plan to hit the Nationals in California but if we can work it in we would like to hit a race in the mid west sometime next year also. We want to meet as many folks as we can that we will not meet at nationals with our HR staff of two and also want to have some fun.

Which race do you all recommend if you could only pick one?? I am sure this is a very hard choice with so many great race sites to choose from

LockHaven, PA first choice, best race in the country in my opinion.

Dayton, OH second choice especially if it is Divisionals.

in R7 I would have to say either Burlington on memorial day weekend (3 days of racing plus good spectator turn out.)or Depue, poor spectator turn out (stock) but a site with a rich history of boat racin. ( Rochelle if you want a chance at the Kevs award LOL)
sigh R6 eveyyone should try to make Constaintine Mich at least once.

              Lakemore (Akron) Ohio.

Great lake, perfect race water, rock bands, beer, Saturday night fireworks, carnival, great pits.

What more could you ask for?

One more vote for Lock Haven...

Our club is working on hosting two Lock Havens next year, the first one being in June and being the NE Divisionals, the second being labor Day. Both should pull over 100 entries. Carnival, beer tent, cooler bobbing, fireworks, rock bands, paved pits, pets and motorhomes welcome, real restrooms, and the biggest turnout of the year short of the Nationals. Although I'm biased to Pennsylvania, this would be my pick as well... If the Mid-west is your limit, I'd say Constantine without a doubt. G. Lyons

I would say Lock Haven, PA. I've been hitting it for quite a few years and I live in Texas. Worth the trip but I usually do it along with a few others each summer in one long boat race excursion (16 weeks). Jack

                        just one race

If I could only attend one race per year, and had to choose just one. I would without a doubt choose the
Top O' Michigan Marathon Nationals in Indian River Michigan.
                        Without a doubt.

If I'm not mistaken he doesn't race runabouts :/

Lock Haven sounds pretty good, have only ever heard people rave about it. I will be trying to make it their next year.
