If this doesn't seem to work for SO, let me know as I would be happy to pursue it for the USTS along with another site I am grooming in CO. I know how to put on an exciting race and I will not embarrass the local boat racers.

What city/town in Montana?

It is the town of Trout Creek Montana, It is located about 60 miles from Sandpoint Idaho on hwy 200. This town likes to do events. They seem to know what brings folks and also brings in money. They put on the Huckleberry festival, a really big ATV/ poker run, Super big Bass tournament, and a snow mobile/ poker run.

At our Ione race the club approved the persuit of a race in Montana. We are now going to meet with the folks of Trout Creek on Sunday to see what we can come up with. The race is planned for June of 2010.

Back in the mid 50's outboards raced at this same site so this is great. A few of the folks in our club have already been to the site and that really helped.
