Thanks Christine for the updates and the pictures, especially the last one of my son. I had a blast racing and seeing all of my friends. In my opinion, this is a race that no one should miss because of the great race course, nice pits and all of the festivities going on all weekend.

Anyone who missed the race this year...you missed out on one of the best courses in the midwest.

Plus the fireworks, live bands and great pits.

Several new faces this year said they won't miss it in the future.

Hope to see more of you next year.

Thank you for your kind comments. On behalf of the club, it is very much appreciated.

I would like to point out Rick Wagner, Sr. and his efforts for putting this race together. Without him, it just would not happen. He attended meetings every month and as the event got closer, he met with them every week. This was a 55 mile - one-way trip. This guy will do anything for boatracing and racers in general. We are fortunate to have him in our club.

Also, Jesse Ward helped with obtaining sponsors to help offset costs for the event.

Thank you Rick, Jesse and ALL the racers who came. We appreciate it. It was great seeing everyone and racing against friends again.
