    Hey Everybody,

Who's going to Hominy? I am trying to find out how many class D boats are going. Aren't you ready to race?

    I am curious too.

I don't think there are any D's in Louisiana. I'm not sure about Texas. The guys in Mississippi are too SCARED.

I had so much fun @ Rockaway Beach, I'm ready for another race. Tony won't go if there are no boats running in his class.

The problem is, we need every boat we can get at this time . During these lean years we may have to do things we don't like to do in order to have things the way we want in the future. McAlister wasn't bad and we put on a pretty good show with only 8 drivers. There were some close heats and the crowd got a taste of boat racing again.
All this does is inspire a would be sponsor for the next year. So even if there are not any other D's there this time , this year , we need you there to help promote the future , in hope that somewhere down the line , the complaint will be too many D's signed up.

See Everybody, we have more than one problem. I think Tony can race in another class too, maybe E.

            Aren't you ready to race?

              Tina,

Tony can race in D, E, and Super E. On a short course with that Tohatsu and his set-up, he's got a legitimate shot at winning any of those three classes. They may throw all the "four cylinder" boats into one class if they are short of entries. Hominy isn't that far for ya'll. Tell him to go race and have fun. I wish I could go but I'm still on crutches.

                Hey David,

I just talked to Tony and he said that was right. I was trying to make plans for the weekend. We are planning on going to Hominy. I was trying to round up some people. We're you on crutches at Pineville? We had such a crazy time down there I can't remember.

Glad to hear you're going to Hominy.

I wasn't on crutches at Pineville. I was wearing a brace on my left knee. That's why Ralph Cook drove my E Hydro. I had surgery on my knee a week ago yesterday. That's why I'm on crutches now.

Do you know the name of the lake in Hominy where the races will be?

I believe it is called Hominy Lake - if you have any questions on the race site and need help - Butch Webb's number is 918-630-5891. My dad and Dudley race there back in the 40's and 50's . I have never been to this site as we did not race there in the 70's and 80's. Looks like C-stock will be strong again and I know Dan will be there with his E . Never thought I would say it , but will welcome the break after this race , it has been three in a row . We are free on 4th of July - then two day race at Perry , Oklahoma . Noticed you guys posted about hot weather - lol - looks like 100 degrees plus in store for Hominy.
