It was an absolutely beutiful weekend at Rockaway Beach this weekend with no rain and sunny skies for all the racing. Very good turnout of boats with around 110 entries total. We ran 11 classes each day with some very full fields. The largest class of the weekend was E-Hydro with 12 entries each day on a very narrow course. It was very tight both days. With only one swimmer all weekend it was a very safe and successful weekend. I don't have the results yet but when we get them we will post them. I do know the winner of the $100 for the largest class total points for the weekend was Dave Nichols in E-Hydro. I think hwe was the only one to finish all 4 heats and got the $$$. I do know in E hydro on Sunday 1st place was Jason Sumrall and 2nd was Keith Kampen. The result was the same for E-Runabout on Sunday.

Jack- unfortunately not. Not giving up on it though. I did however have several spectators want pictures taken next to my boat w/ its new flame paint job. Guess the weekend wasn't a total waste. It sure looked fast on the beach.

Congrats Matt!!! Rick is a hard guy to beat. C Stock is stacked this year... Lets hope I can make it to Centralia to mix it up with eveyone.

lol - yes Matt did a good job driving - race event was excellent - uh - too bad the clock didn't work right - results would have been different - hard to start when light for score keeper goes off 2 sec after clock hits zero - but other than that, it was a great weekend and a great race - hats of the the ODA club.
