Augusta result!

You guys would have liked the course, a pretty sharp right on the back stretch, leading to a pin buoy left that leads you around a large sweeping left to the starting line. A roll-up could make some small gains around the 'righty', but the flat turners would stretch it back out on the sweeping left.
As you know, short course marathons are a blast, being able to look around the course and seeing if you are being gained on, or if you are getting away.
I know you guys couldn't make it. Too bad, if you get a chance, try to make this one next year. You will like it.
Short course: Didn't really belong out there with some really fast boats entered in this one....but.... thanks to a few miscues by others, I managed to slip into a third overall on Saturday, skipped it on Sunday, If I can get my hands on some C runabout plans........lookout!!
Missed you guys, I'm sure you would have had a ball...maybe next year.

Good boat builder.

Yes Ma'am, I'll assume your talking about Kurt, the builder of many, many fine boats that I've admired over the years. (That 7-M BSH at Eagle Lake last weekend is one of the finest things I've seen lately!) Not to mention all the great runabouts I've seen over the years.
Being a boat builder myself, much of the fun is building my own. I may not compare, but if you get a chance, check out my workmanship, not too bad for a 'newbie', or so I'm told. KampKurz C57M
P.S. Save me a large A.C.B.A. shirt.
