So Phil, tell us his story. For those of us that never met him and only heard the name.

Harper Chance was one of the most well-liked people, ever, in region 3. Jill Glossner is his daughter and Scott, the announcer, his son-in-law. Shawn Briesacher, who runs CSR, his grandson. Harper was our inspector and general all-aroung do-it guy. He rewired speakers, built timers and clocks and just about every other between race job. Harper was a presence in the early days of racing with his 4-60 Evenrude and I understand a bit of midget car racing. He always had great stories about the old-days etc. My favorites were always about them racing around flaming torches, at night, on a small lake, in Cleminton Amusment Park. He did great small machine work for me in the evenings.
I am sure others have great Harper Chance memories.
