MHRA would really like to have the SLTs attend this race and originally had them on the schedule, but after Mike Venier (sp) did a head count he determined that there wouldn't be enough to even make a class for points.
ASR/ASH, A marathon - Jerry Oberlin -
Driving up from GA. to attende Eagle Lake AND Constantine. Thanks for the support Jerry!
Wow, that's cool. I know Jerry from KampKurz. Glad to hear it. Heck, if Jerry can drive up from Georgia, I wonder why we can't get some of those wonderful marathon boys to follow us down to Eagle Lake. KampKurz
OK people listen up. The construction that was taking place during last years race is done. You can enter this race site from many different angles if need be. I am posting this map with addresses of the race site and the hotel. MAP QUEST your own way in from your location. I take no responsibilty for lost people. I think Sedor is all set as he sold his motor home and got a more dependible one last year. Good luck and see you Friday in the pits.
It looks to me like them girls are running the the show up there in Ladd land. Jim could you make a friendly call up and see if you can get them boys a weekend pass? Tell them you need a roper ( 1st time Yamato driver) and a good strong cart puller. I think we need some flagger's at the judges stand to. Thanks!!!!!!!! Mikey
WELL --- it looks as thou mother nature has given us a great weekend of weather for this race. The classes are shaping up nicely. 9 projected "A" hydros to be on hand with a veteran from Canada reported to be attending with his lay down "A" hydro.
We are in the clear through the weekend with highs in the 70s each day.
