Was looking to see who was coming June 13 & 14. This is a great race site. Our club has really thinking of holding the nationals here. Super nice Park, Lake with no homes on it in a huge bowl. Water was super nice last year. Anyway post if your coming. The bar in town was fun to but it may have been the 7 shots of Jim Beam that Jordan Swain forced down my throat that made it seem so good. Ok
Mike - You must be talking about the "Barking Frog" tavern and grill. I spoke with the owner (who helps sponor the race) and he said the racers were great last year and they was looking forward to their return on the 13th and 14th.
Hot off the presses is this years 2009 sponsor poster that are in the local hot spots. This years race will also have a limited amount of "Eagle Lake" T-shirts for sale as well.Tom L.

Augusta a Musta!
Mikey, Oh yea, I'm looking forward to coming. I'll be bringing Mr. Powell along, hoping some D's show up, and I believe he's running CSR as well.
I trust you'll direct us to the 'tavern' for a rousing round of cocktails and some race talk. KampKurz

Sanction
Nick/Jim,
The APBA website has the sanction on-line and it does list the marathon. Not sure what "flyer" your talking about. If you're talking about the "flyer" Tom Low posted, then you're correct. It doesn't list Hydros, Runabouts, J classes or Marathons. It lists "Outboard Powerboat Racing" as it's a poster / flyer we put up around town to advertise the races and not specifically meant for the racers.
