Augusta, MI - Smoke on the Water - 2009 information

There was some confusion regarding campsite availability due to an error on the State of MI DNR campground reservation site. For about a 3 week period of time their site showed very little sites available and last week zero sites.

The error has been corrected and there are quite a few sites available now. Please don't wait.

This is a great site with great pits and race course. Picnic dinner Saturday night by the same caterer as 2008. Hope to see you there.

I have checked the radar and it looks like we are going to have some nice weather that weekend!!!

I might even host the sand castle competition again.

Brian that would be great! I know the kids had a great time with your castle building comp.. I encourage anyone that has not been to this race to mark it in your calenders. This is one of the best race sites and camp grounds in the nation! Some pictures from 2008 follow.
