Sorry, but AMH is not on the schedule this year.
Each year is examined and changes made to the program. Such was the case this year, as the schedule is different than last.
Next year, perhaps.
TRORA appreciates all those making the trip this year and we look forward to a successful event for everyone.

Steve
Burlington might have some AMH's for you all. Maybe time to head west a little bit. Should not be to bad a drive for you all. They race on Monday too,so you can get a head start with three races for points ! Then you can try and convince them to put AMH back on the schedule for your home town race next year.Dave Mason

Who would not like to race a such an awsome race cousre as Franklin, PA.???
Steve F., you race other classes too and the darn lake is basically in your back yard....
You can not put every class on the schedue when there are 150 entries per day.
Not a bad drive for "you all", Dave are you freaking bonkers, Burlington, WI is approximately 8 hours and 45 minutes (driving time) from Erie,PA. And race on Monday, making a Friday thru Tuesday road trip out of it??
Now, I am not saying anything negative about Burlington for sure, I have raced there many times in the past... And I do hope that they have a great turn out and a great race all 3 days.
But, do not say one negative thing about one of the best (by-far) race course/races in the midwest, my friend!

Sorry to have ruffled your feathers, I didn't think my post was a personal attack on you or the race site. When I come to race at Franklin I drive 8 hours........ so I must be freaking bonkers....... thanks for reminding me.Dave Mason

Sorry Jeff
Dave, your post should be addressed to my brother Jon not myself. I am the old, tired, bald one in the family.
I have told Trora for years that they should run all stock and mod to not leave anyone on the shore. I even passed a class combination rule about 20 years ago to avoid racing too many classes in a day,,,but it was eventually tossed by the way side. But, what the heck do I know after racing since 1973??
They have not learned from past mistakes once again at this race and participation will suffer.
For those heading to both races....be safe and good luck!

Enough already
1st - this started out as a role call to see who was coming to Franklin - not a B***h session on what classes are not on the sanction. Quit highjacking the thread!
2nd - 250MH (AMH) will be on the sanction for the Fall race. We hope to see everyone there.
3rd - Spring Franklin has not had all classes on the schedule in well over 5 years. There is a group of "core" classes every year and another handful of classes that change every year based on previous participation and commitments for future participation. If anyone would like to see a class added for next year, all that is needed is to contact one of the principles of the race (60-90 days prior to the race - not 3 weeks out) with the class request and a commitment of a full field to be considered.
TRORA tries very hard to balance all individual racer needs for classes on the schedule with the overall goal of a tight program that does not have racing from dawn to dusk or 1 heat Sunday racing.Brian 10s
